2 (15oz each) containers ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese (or in a can), divided
2 eggs, slighly beaten
1 tsp dried basil
2 (27oz each) jars spaghetti sauce
1 lb spicy italian sausage, cook and drained
add some italian spices to make it taste better
- Preheat oven to 275.
- In med bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, 1/4 cup parm, eggs and basil (and or other italian spices) Mix well.
- In 9x13 pan, spread some meat sauce, place lasanga over sauce, spread cheese stuff and cover with meat sauce. Repeat
- Sprinkle w/ remaining mozz and parm cheese.
- Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes sealed in foil before cutting and serving.
Makes 9-12 servings
